Employer Description Interior Design firm specializing in residential and specialized leisure projects Job Description In this role, reporting into the Director, the successful Interior Designer will handle: Conduct site visits to assess spaces, take measurements and understand project requirements. Develop creative and practical interior design concepts for upmarket residential properties, hotels and small casinos. Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences and expectations. Manage client relationships and provide ongoing communication throughout the design process. Read, interpret and work from architectural plans, technical drawings and construction layouts. Prepare and present design proposals, layouts, concepts and material selections. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and other relevant project professionals. Monitor design implementation on site to ensure that the finished work aligns with approved designs and specifications. Identify design challenges and provide practical, creative solutions. Manage multiple projects and ensure deadlines and client expectations are met. Qualifications Interior Design or Architecture qualification Skills 3-5 years' experience in Interior Design Proficient in AutoCAD and Sketchup Experience with residential and leisure projects Driver's license and own vehicle Benefits Travel reimbursement
