Salary: R35,000 – R50,000 basic per month + Commission (Depending on Post Admission experience)

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities Manage and oversee conveyancing matters from instruction through to registration and finalisation. Handle property transfers, including the preparation, review and execution of all relevant legal documentation. Manage bond registrations, cancellations and related conveyancing processes, where applicable. Liaise with clients, estate agents, financial institutions, bond attorneys, correspondent attorneys, deeds offices and other relevant stakeholders. Prepare, review and verify conveyancing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable legislation and legal requirements. Monitor transaction progress, manage deadlines and proactively resolve delays or issues affecting registration. Coordinate the collection of supporting documentation, including FICA documents, title deeds, guarantees and other transaction-specific requirements. Attend to Deeds Office lodgements, examination queries, rejections and registrations. Ensure compliance with relevant conveyancing procedures, regulatory requirements and internal policies. Maintain accurate matter records, transaction files and reporting documentation. Provide clients and relevant stakeholders with regular updates on the progress of transactions. Identify opportunities to improve workflows, turnaround times and operational efficiency within the newly established department. Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental processes, controls and best practices. Manage a portfolio of matters independently while maintaining a high standard of service delivery and professional conduct. Requirements Must be an admitted Conveyancer in South Africa. Minimum of 2 years' post-admission experience as a Conveyancer. Practical experience in managing conveyancing transactions from instruction to registration. Experience in both property transfers and bond registrations will be highly advantageous. Sound knowledge of South African conveyancing procedures, property law and relevant legislation. Familiarity with Deeds Office procedures, lodgements, examinations and registrations. Strong drafting, document-review and administrative skills. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in legal documentation. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to liaise professionally with clients, financial institutions, attorneys and other stakeholders. A proactive, solutions-driven approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities. Proficiency in relevant conveyancing software and Microsoft Office applications. Must be based in or able to commute to Centurion.
