POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements: National Diploma\/ Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience required Minium 5 years' experience in the transformer or high voltage industry with 2 years in a supervisory or management position Knowledge and experience in MS Projects Understanding of the operation and design of a transformer Project management and contract management experience essential Experience and knowledge of the NEC contracts and objectives SACPMP registration advantageous SAP experience advantageous Sound knowledge of importing transformers and related activities such and shipping and clearing Proficiency on MS Office Suite Valid code 8 driver's license Responsibilities: Oversee and manage project orders from inception until finalisation Maintain Customer liaison and ensure Customer satisfaction Manage contracts in accordance to specific agreements Manage shipping and clearing of imported transformers Compile progress reports for financial contractual status of projects Conduct site inspections required as part of the project process Gather all necessary information needed to comply with client's specification & installation of goods Receive and process Customer orders in line with the Customer's technical requirements Execute technical orders on Liaise with all relevant internal departments to streamline processes Follow-up on contractual commitments and keep the customer updated on progress \/ deliveries Facilitate and assist with project related finance requirements including but not limited to CPA and payments Co-ordinate and attend all Customer related inspections, including site hand overs and port inspections Continuously improve internal systems & procedures Arrange and chair monthly contracts and projects meetings and management meetings as required Manage staff to ensure objectives are achieved each year including revenue, KPIs expenditure and strategic goals Compile departmental budget Negotiate orders and contracts with OEM's, Consultants, Project companies and End-User Assist with compiling project schedules Monitor industry related developments Ensure timelines are met to minimise company's exposure to penalties Training of new and existing Contracts staff Manage and control Supplier (transport, SHE assessments, commissioning, and installation), contracts and audits TO APPLY: Only if you meet the minimum job requirements and experience as mentioned above, you may submit a detailed updated CV.
