Contracts Manager - Construction Industry

RPO Recruitment’s client, a construction contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the commercial and contractual aspects of its construction projects in Polokwane.

This opportunity is suited to a seasoned construction professional with a strong background in both building and civil works, capable of managing multiple project contracts, coordinating teams and ensuring projects are delivered within contractual, financial and programme requirements.

• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in the construction industry.
• Extensive experience in building and civil works projects.
• Proven experience in contracts management within the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project administration and commercial management.
• Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.
• Ability to manage project budgets, costs, claims and contractual variations.
• Strong negotiation, leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be willing to be based in Polokwane.
