Consumer Brand Manager
Job Description
Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for building consumer-facing brand equity through innovative, compliant marketing campaigns. With a heavy focus on digital platforms, insights, and consumer engagement, you will ensure our client's brands connect with end-users across the entire customer journey to drive brand awareness, loyalty, and market share.
- Develop consumer campaigns across digital, social, and traditional media, translating brand strategies into compelling messages, influencer marketing, PR, and pharmacy activations.
- Own digital platforms (content calendars, websites, social media) and run performance marketing campaigns including SEO, SEM, paid social, and programmatic advertising.
- Use data analytics, consumer research, and active feedback to constantly optimize campaign performance.
- Map the consumer journey to build loyalty, execute in-store activations/retail partnerships, and develop educational materials like videos and online content.
- Partner with the internal Rx Brand Manager to align messaging, and manage external creative agencies, research firms, and vendors.
- Ensure all consumer marketing activities strictly comply with SAHPRA and ASA codes.
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
- 3–5 years in consumer brand management (OTC experience is highly advantageous).
- Proven success in brand launches and driving growth within the digital space is advantageous.
- Candidates must provide a portfolio or case studies demonstrating proof of results in campaign execution.
- Strong capabilities in digital marketing, consumer insights, social media management, and agency handling.
