To transport heavy freight, raw materials, or specialized cargo across local, regional, or long-distance routes, while strictly maintaining road safety, vehicle compliance, and accurate delivery documentation.

Department / Branch

• Co-responsible for Company products on delivery routes
• Responsible for the Company truck during deliveries
• Checklist of Company Trucks & report of any defects/ damages to management
• Ensure company truck is maintained as per company requirements
• Assist the van porter with all delivery-related processes
• Paperwork of deliveries is executed as per Company Policies, Procedures and Requirements
• To report any discrepancies to management
• Debriefing of delivery route stock/invoices/claims etc. on return to depot
• Adhere to good housekeeping practices of delivery vehicle
• Adhering to Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements
• General duties as per operational requirements

• Valid & unendorsed code 14 license (which allows you to drive a vehicle over 16 000 Kg, with a trailer over 750 Kg) & unendorsed PRDP
• Minimum of 2 Years’s driving experience with a code 14 Truck (> 16 000 Kg)
• Good health
• Pass Medical fitness test/examination
• Sober habits
• Basic mathematical skills
• Be able to read & write
• Physical strength - be able to load & offload products
• Be able to work in a cold environment (Refrigerated Trucks)
• Be able to work shifts/flexi hours, Weekends & Public Holidays
• Be able to work overtime
• Be able to sleep out on delivery routes
