Cleaner

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team for two days per week. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for keeping our workplace clean, tidy and hygienic. We are looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, hardworking, takes pride in their work and can work well both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain bathrooms, kitchens, offices and yards
• Empty waste and recycling bins
• Clean windows and other areas as required
• Clean up spills and messes as soon as possible
• Refill cleaning supplies such as toilet paper and paper towels
• Disinfect commonly used surfaces such as desks, door handles and phones
• Follow health and safety procedures
• Complete all cleaning tasks before the end of each shift
• Work together with other cleaners to keep the workplace clean
• Perform other reasonable duties as required

• Good communication skills

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to follow health and safety procedures
• Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment

Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12
• Previous cleaning experience
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use
• Experience in a workplace, warehouse or similar environment will be an advantage
