Channel Sales Manager – Process Equipment
Job Description
- A global process equipment manufacturer is appointing a Channel Sales Manager to be based in Johannesburg. Regular regional travel. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will grow a multi-partner distribution network across Eastern and Southern Africa, serving food, beverage, dairy and pharmaceutical manufacturers.
What you will own
- Channel strategy, partner agreements and regional business plans
- Partner performance, training and market coverage
- New business with partners supplying multinational FMCG and GMP-regulated plants
- Value-based technical quotations and fair resolution of partner conflicts
What you bring
- Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 12+ years in processing, selling pumps, valves, heat exchangers or process lines into FMCG and GMP-regulated plant applications
- Essential: multi-country distributor management; Africa exposure a strong plus
- Preferred: a background as a Technical Sales Engineer
- A background in hygienic manufacturing rather than mining or heavy industry

- Partner scorecards and CRM-led channel reporting
