Candidate Scientist (Food Science): Plant Sciences

Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma in Science or relevant qualification; Registration with SACNAPS as a Certificated Natural Scientist in training is compulsory upon appointment. 

Key Performance Areas

• Assist in the implementation of methodologies, policies, systems amd procedures; To assist in the facilitation of compliance;
• Provide advice to internal & external clients/stakeholders on agri-processing for decision-making, initiatives and/or interventions within a specific environment; Provide capacity building.

Remuneration

• All inclusive salary package of R 687 036 per annum (OSD as prescribed)
• Note on remuneration: Cost-to-employer (CTE) remuneration packages for certain occupation-specific dispensations (OSD) are inclusive of all costs related to service benefits or obligations including basic salary, medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc. Where remuneration is not indicated as CTE, employees' service benefits or obligations are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements
