About the Opportunity

A leading player in the IT distribution space is looking for a commercially sharp, people-focused leader to head up its Enterprise Software business unit. You will be the link between vendor, sales and business partners. You will own the strategy, drive profitability and lead a high-performing team in the fast-moving Enterprise Software and Cyber Security market.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Achieve annual gross profit targets while keeping within budgeted inventory weeks and aged stock levels Manage the day-to-day running of the Enterprise team, including BDMs, Product Managers, Operations Assistants and Product Specialists Mentor and coach team members to deliver excellence Build and maintain strong relationships with the vendor, sales teams and sales silo managers Take part in the division's annual budgeting and planning process, and track results Develop and manage relationships between the brand and its internal and external partners Activate, enable and grow Business Partners in line with Enterprise Software and Cyber Security growth expectations and scorecard requirements Drive distribution into Retail and Commercial\/Public Sector channels Manage the sales funnel and present it at the weekly team meeting Plan and facilitate marketing events and campaigns that generate leads and new opportunities Enable technical and sales training for both internal teams and the partner\/reseller base Attend customer visits with business partners Minimum Requirements Experience and Knowledge 5 years of related experience in the IT Distribution\/resale channel Proven team management experience across all operational areas of management Business development experience across diverse Business Partner accounts Experience selling to and working with customers at all levels, including high-profile clients Experience developing sales plans, identifying opportunities and closing deals Customer service environment experience Experience with Enterprise Software and Cyber Security solutions is crucial Qualifications and Skills Matric certificate with exemption Tertiary qualification or diploma in Sales, Marketing or IT (advantageous) Leadership and management training Intermediate MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Strong negotiation, presentation and business communication skills Analytical, numerate and detail-oriented, with sound decision-making Project management skills and solid business acumen The Person We're Looking For You are a decisive, target-driven leader who thrives under pressure.
