Business Development Manager or Key Accounts Manager (BDM/ KAM) – MV Motors

• In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the growth and market success of company's Large Motors and Medium Voltage (MV) Drives portfolio across South Africa and the Sub Saharan African region.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPIERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in Product Management, Business Development, Technical Sales, or Sales Management within the electrical, mechanical, automation, or industrial equipment sector.
• Proven experience working with Large Motors, Medium Voltage Drives, rotating equipment, or related industrial powertrain solutions.
• A National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering,
• Strong understanding of industrial applications and customer requirements within sectors such as mining, utilities, water, oil and gas, metals, cement, chemicals, or manufacturing.
• Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities.
• Exposure to and experience supporting customers across Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) markets will be advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value for customers.
• Experience engaging with engineering teams, plant management, project houses, consultants, and senior decision-makers.
• Electromechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Excellent presentation, communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business systems, with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Willing and able to travel extensively across South Africa and the broader SSA region to support customer engagement and business development activities.
