Business Data Analyst (Short Term Insurance)

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Analyse, design, develop, support, and enhance the reporting and analytics platform. Develop BI solutions using SQL, ETL, database programming, and Microsoft BI Stack tools. Build and maintain operational dashboards for Claims, Procurement, and Operations. Develop and manage a governed semantic layer, ensuring a single source of truth across reporting environments. Integrate and standardise data from policy administration and external systems. Deliver claims, procurement, broker, binder, product, and commercial analytics, including predictive insights, forecasting, and risk analysis. Support actuarial pricing integration and end-to-end pricing processes. Enable proactive operational monitoring through predictive KPIs, alerts, and performance reporting. Maintain data quality, reconciliations, governance controls, and reporting standards. Document BI assets, data definitions, and automate recurring reporting processes. Job Experience and skill required Bachelor's degree / diploma in one of the following fields: Informatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Information Technology 2 - 4 years solid experience in BI positions or similar opportunity Experience in short term insurance (claims, underwriting, pricing, broker performance) - non negotiable Experience with Python, R, C++, C# or Java - non negotiable Experience in Microsoft SQL server and T-SQL - non negotiable Essential experience in PowerBI, SSIS, SSRS, Databricks, Python, Azure Data Factories, Azure Synapse Analytics Apply now!
