Job Description

Role Overview:

In this role, you will be the strategic and commercial owner of an assigned portfolio of our clients brands, driving long-term growth and market share across prescription, pharmacy, and consumer channels. You will lead cross-functional execution alongside specialized Centers of Excellence while holding full accountability for brand performance and financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute our client's integrated annual brand strategies and commercial plans across Rx, OTC, and consumer channels.
Own sales growth, market share, gross profit, budgeting, forecasting, and Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI) for the assigned portfolio.
Build evidence-based strategies for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), consumer demand generation, and pharmacy-specific commercial initiatives.
Lead matrix teams across Medical, Regulatory, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and external agencies to ensure alignment.
Lead new product launches, build robust business cases for portfolio expansion, and evaluate line extensions.
Analyze industry-standard retail data, competitor activities, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and business risks.
Ensure all promotional practices and marketing activities strictly comply with SAHPRA regulations and ethical industry codes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Business (Postgraduate Marketing qualification is a plus).
5+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical or Consumer Healthcare Brand Management.
Proven track record of managing both Rx and OTC brands, including successful product launches.
Strong commercial, financial, and analytical skills within a matrix organization.
