Brand Ambassador - Healthcare (Ophthalmology), Pretoria

SUMMARY:
A leading medical facility for over 30 years specialising in Ophthalmology requires the above to support their marketing activities by building relationships with Optometrists, GPs, and other relevant Healthcare Professionals, to increase awareness of the hospital's services and encourage appropriate referrals. The role involves travel within Gauteng, regular practice visits to increase potential referral partners, distributing marketing material, and supporting promotional activities, ambassadorship and events.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements for the role: A Grade 12 is essential for this role. A qualification in Marketing would be an advantage but not essential. Previous experience working in healthcare, pharmaceutical sales, medical devices, or professional services is preferred. Previous experience working in sales, marketing, client relations, promotions or a similar customer-facing role is preferred. Must be able to develop fresh ideas to attract attention, increase engagement, and improve brand visibility. The successful candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to maintain a professional image and uphold organisational standards. Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships. Must be able to promote the organization's products, services, events, and campaigns. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Supporting their marketing activities by building relationships with Optometrists, GPs, and other relevant Healthcare Professionals to increase awareness of the hospital's services and encourage appropriate referrals. Travelling within Gauteng, conducting regular practice visits to increase potential referral partners, distributing marketing material, and supporting promotional activities, ambassadorship and events. Visiting identified optometry and GP practices to build professional relationships. Communicating services and referral processes using approved marketing material. Planning and managing practice visits, appointments and follow-ups independently. Distributing marketing material and assisting with activations, events, and promotional activities. Identifying opportunities to increase brand awareness and strengthen referral relationships. Maintaining accurate visit records, progress reports, and share relevant feedback with the Marketing Specialist.
