Location: Hammarsdale, KwaZulu-Natal Are you an experienced Bookkeeper who can manage the books through to trial balance? Our client is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping skills, a good understanding of financial processes and the ability to maintain accurate financial records independently. Experience in HR administration would be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial transactions. Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries. Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, creditors and debtors. Process invoices, payments and receipts. Prepare monthly financial information and reports. Maintain the books through to trial balance. Ensure financial records are accurate and up to date. Assist with additional administrative duties as required. Support HR administration, if experienced in this area. Requirements Proven bookkeeping experience, with the ability to work up to trial balance. Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations. Good computer skills and experience with accounting software. High level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail. Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently. Good, verifiable employment references. Advantageous Previous experience in HR administration. Experience handling both finance and HR-related duties.
