Carry out day to day boilermaking / welding repairs as given by the foreman for specific timelines.

VACANCY- OFF CROP SEASON (FTC) Job Title: Boilermaker x29 - Felixton Mill Level: C2 Reports To: Section Foreman Qualifications and Experience Required Matric or NQF 4 plus trade tested boilermaking Minimum 3 years post apprenticeship experience in industrial environment, ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions Good troubleshooting, attention to detail and communication skill. Main Purpose of the job Carry out day to day boilermaking / welding repairs as given by the foreman Manufacture flame cut and welded items to given drawings Fabricate and install pipes, cones, chutes and other steel components Shaping and fabricating parts Inspecting equipment for proper functioning Keep detailed records of work performed, including materials and specifications Perform basic rigging and lifting as required for task allocated
