Duties: Design, develop and maintain Business Intelligence solutions Develop and maintain operational reports, dashboards and data visualisations Work with SQL Data Warehouse environments, including implementation, configuration, administration and maintenance Investigate and resolve reporting and data-related issues Identify opportunities to improve reporting solutions and system performance Work closely with developers and Business Analysts to resolve performance issues and optimise queries Provide technical support and diagnose incidents relating to BI solutions Implement solutions and escalate complex technical issues where required Ensure BI-related incidents and service requests are resolved effectively Support the ongoing improvement and reliability of reporting and analytics solutions Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) Relevant degree, diploma or IT\/software development qualification. Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a Data Warehouse Developer \/ BI Developer role Hands-on experience designing, configuring, installing, troubleshooting and maintaining BI solutions Strong SQL\/T-SQL and SQL Server experience, with solid exposure to Data Warehousing and BI development. Power BI, SSRS, SSIS or SSAS experience would be advantageous Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong planning and organisational skills Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with maturity and discretion Relevant tertiary qualification and\/or relevant certifications will be advantageous Willingness to work occasional after-hours when required Ability and willingness to coach and mentor junior staff If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
