POSITION INFO:
Location: Stellenbosch About Hospitality establishment in Stellenbosch is seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Barista to join the team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages. Operate and maintain coffee machines and related equipment. Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere. Take customer orders and process payments accurately. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the coffee station and service areas. Restock coffee, milk, syrups, and other supplies as required. Follow food safety, health, and hygiene standards. Assist with daily opening and closing duties. Work efficiently during busy service periods. Maintain consistent beverage quality and presentation. Requirements: Previous barista or hospitality experience is advantageous. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso machines. Strong communication and customer service skills. Good attention to detail and a positive attitude. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and a neat, organised approach to work. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
