SUMMARY:
Job Title: Backfill Sampler Assistant (Underground Platinum Mine)
Location: Lydenburg, Mpumalanga

Job Overview:
 Help collect and record samples from the backfill operation, so quality and fill standards are met.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements: Grade 10 or higher (Matric preferred). At least 1 year's experience in a mining, sampling or laboratory environment. Attention to detail and accurate record keeping. Valid Certificate of Fitness. Advantageous: Experience in backfill or cemented fill operations; underground experience; basic computer skills. Key Responsibilities: Assist with taking backfill and related samples at the plant and underground. Label, record and hand over samples according to the procedure. Prepare and clean sampling equipment and the sampling area. Follow safety rules and report hazards. Keep accurate records and report to the sampler or supervisor.
