AVBOB, Mutual Assurance Society providing a one-stop funeral insurance and burial solution, has a vacancy for:
Job Functions Administration,Funeral Service Industries Admin, Office & Support Specification
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
 Receiving of batches
 Receive batches from Senior clerk scanning
 Compare batch numbers on the list submitted against physical
batches.
 Sign batch list to confirm receipt thereof.
 Preparations of incoming batches
 Sort documents accordingly.
 Paste slips e.g receipts on an A4 paper with glue.
 Tipp-ex barcodes on the Id copies.
 Bigger documents must be cut into an A4 size to fit into the
scanner.
 Insert “Patch Separator Sheets” between each policy number/BB
numbers.
 Documents must be packed neatly for easy scanning.
 Sign on the batch list to confirm preparation.
 Scanning, indexing and linking of documents
 Pack documents in number order as it appears on the batch list.
 After all the documents have been scanned, retrieve the
information from system.
 If the quality of scanned documents is not clear repeat the
scanning process.
 Index policy number into the system.
 Where there are more than one policy numbers that belongs to
one policyholder, the policy numbers must be linked.
 Master Fische enquiries
 Receive a list from relevant departments with regards to Master Fische enquiries.
 Master Fische is kept in the safe for safekeeping.
 Remove relevant Master Fische film from the safe to make copies.
 File back Master Fische films after use in numerical order.
 Archiving
 Ensure that scanned documents are sent for archiving
 Ad hoc duties
 Send queried copies to the relevant department.
 Assist as and when necessary to achieve the departments objectives.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
 Matric
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
 1-year Office Administration.
