Automotive Service Advisor – Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal

Job Overview

• An established motor dealership in Hillcrest is seeking an experienced, professional and customer-focused Service Advisor.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth customer service experience and maintaining effective communication between customers and the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle service bookings and customer enquiries.
• Open and manage workshop job cards.
• Liaise with Technicians and workshop management.
• Keep customers informed about vehicle service progress.
• Prepare quotations and obtain customer authorisation.
• Coordinate vehicle collections and customer handovers.
• Resolve customer service concerns.
• Maintain accurate administration and customer records.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years' Service Advisor experience within a motor dealership.
• Experience using Automate, Evolve or similar dealership management systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
• Experience opening and managing workshop job cards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy service department.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
• Valid driver's licence preferred.

Salary & Benefits 

• R12,000 – R18,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience.
