Remuneration: R28 000 - R34 000 per month + Incentive + Company Vehicle + Fuel Allowance + Medical Aid + Provident Fund
 
Purpose Of The Job:
A well-established passenger vehicle dealership in Gqeberha is seeking an experienced and dynamic Workshop Foreman to lead and support a busy service department. This role requires a qualified technician with proven foreman experience within a franchised motor dealership environment, capable of driving workshop productivity, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations to maximize efficiency and productivity Provide technical support and guidance to technicians and apprentices Manage workshop loading, job allocation, and workflow planning Ensure repair and maintenance work is completed to manufacturer and dealership standards Monitor productivity, efficiency, and workshop performance targets Conduct quality control inspections on completed work Assist with the diagnosis of complex technical issues when required Work closely with Service Advisors and Parts Department staff to ensure seamless customer service Ensure compliance with health, safety, and manufacturer requirements Mentor, train, and develop workshop staff Assist in achieving departmental profitability and customer satisfaction objectives Minimum Requirements: Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician (Red Seal Trade Test essential) Previous experience as a Workshop Foreman within a franchised motor dealership is essential Experience with a volume passenger vehicle brand Strong understanding of workshop productivity, efficiency, and quality control processes Proven track record of leading high-performing technical teams Strong technical knowledge of passenger vehicles Proven ability to manage a busy, high-volume workshop environment Excellent leadership and people management skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets Good communication and interpersonal skills Computer literacy and experience with dealership management systems Valid driver's licence Please Note: Only candidates with franchised motor dealership foreman experience and a recognized motor trade qualification will be considered for this opportunity.
