Job Description
- Working hours: Monday – Thursday: 14h00 – 17h00
- School holiday hours: No school holidays necessarily needed but will be discussed prior to each holiday period i.e. if they are on leave, the Au Pair will be on leave.
- A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their sons aged 10 years old and 8 years old
- Area: Paarl
- Ages: sons aged 10 years old and 8 years old
- Working hours: Monday – Thursday: 14h00 – 17h00
- School holiday hours: No school holidays necessarily needed but will be discussed prior to each holiday period i.e. if they are on leave, the Au Pair will be on leave.
- Duties: provide a nurturing, structured environment while encouraging independence, good manners and positive behaviour. School collections and transport to activities. Assistance with homework and study for exams. Helping establish consistent afternoon routines. Encouraging positive social skills, emotional development and confidence. Keeping the boys engaged through fun, age-appropriate activities.
- Requirements: energetic, responsible and genuinely enjoy working with children. Must have a valid driver's licence, own reliable transport, previous childcare experience and excellent references, someone who will become a trusted, positive influence in our children's lives.
- School: school is 4km away from the family home
- Start date: ASAP start – permanent contract, a start no later than January 2027
- Salary:R8500 per month (gross, before deductions) + R1500 petrol per month
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
- Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal childcare experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
- Must have their own, reliable car and at least 12 months driving experience.
- Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Must have a passion for children
- Must have Matric
- Must have a South African ID document.
