A leading organisation is seeking an Applications Manager to oversee its enterprise applications landscape and act as the critical link between business, operations, and technology teams. This role combines applications management, stakeholder engagement, business analysis, vendor management, and project delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring business systems support organisational objectives while identifying opportunities for process improvement, system optimisation, and technology innovation. You will work closely with leadership, business users, technical teams, and external service providers to ensure applications remain effective, governed, and aligned to business requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the enterprise applications landscape. Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, leadership teams, and technology providers. Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation. Translate business requirements into effective system and process solutions. Support application implementations, upgrades, testing, and deployment activities. Ensure business applications align with operational and strategic objectives. Manage vendors, service providers, contracts, and SLA performance. Oversee change management, application governance, and authorisation controls. Support end users and drive adoption of enterprise applications. Manage application-related budgets and financial planning activities. Produce reports, recommendations, and insights for management and leadership teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across systems and business processes. Job Experience and Skills Required Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or a related field. Valid driver's licence. ITIL Foundation certification. Business Analysis certification. SAP ERP Functional certification. Minimum 10 years' experience within a SAP ERP support environment. Minimum 5 years' experience managing enterprise applications. Experience managing ERP implementation or migration projects. Exposure to SAP ECC and SAP S\/4HANA environments will be advantageous. Proven experience working with senior stakeholders and business leaders. SAP ERP support and administration. Application lifecycle management. Business process analysis and optimisation. ERP implementation and migration projects. Vendor and contract management. SLA management and governance. Application testing and validation. Reporting and business process improvement. Change management and user adoption. Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
