Job Description

SUMMARY:

We're partnering with a leading organisation in the payments space that is looking to add a skilled Android Developer to their growing technology team. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining Android-based payment applications used on POS and card payment devices, working on solutions that process millions of transactions securely and efficiently

POSITION INFO:
What You'll Need Essential Skills & Experience Strong experience with native Android development using Java and\/or Kotlin Solid understanding of EMV protocols (contact and\/or contactless payments) Experience working with ISO 8583 financial messaging standards Hands-on experience integrating Android hardware peripherals such as: Card readers NFC devices PIN pads Experience using AIDL\/IPC for hardware communication and integration Advantageous Experience Exposure to React Native, Ionic, or Capacitor alongside native Android development Knowledge of PCI PTS and\/or PA-DSS compliance standards Experience with DUKPT or MK-SK key management Previous exposure to payment terminals, payment processing environments, fintech platforms, or transaction-processing systems What We're Looking For This role is best suited to developers who have worked directly within the payments, card acquiring, fintech, or transaction-processing sectors and can clearly demonstrate experience with payment terminal technologies and EMV-based solutions.
