All-round Maintenance and Breakdown Technician (Electrical + Mechanical) positions are available in the Netherlands. Must have completed trade/red seal. Fluent in Afrikaans and English. Must be under the age of 28 for Visa requirements

POSITION INFO:
All-round Maintenance and Breakdown Technician (Electrical + Mechanical) Netherlands, Europe Must be under 28 for Visa requirements. Minimum requirements and experience: 28 years or younger. Completed Red Seal or Trade Test in the relevant trade. At least 3-4 years of relevant hands-on experience after qualifying, in the trade test Fluent Afrikaans (home language preferred) and good English. Willing to move to the Netherlands long-term and motivated to learn Dutch. A stable, logical career path with no unexplained gaps. A driving licence is a strong plus. Technical Skills: Fault-find and repair production machines on both the electrical and mechanical side quickly to minimise downtime. Electrical work:    Motors, starters, MCCs Control panels Sensors, encoders and safety circuits variable speed drives (VSDs) PLC work: read PLC programs and HMIs to diagnose faults, mainly Siemens (S7/TIA Portal). Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi or others are a plus. Making small program changes is a plus. Mechanical work: Bearings, gearboxes, chains, belts and conveyors Pumps, valves and couplings alignment and lubrication Pneumatics and hydraulics: diagnose and repair cylinders, valves, pumps and hoses. Preventive and corrective maintenance: follow maintenance schedules and do inspections and condition checks. Read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and technical manuals. Work in shifts or on call, independently, with safety front of mind. Plus: experience in food processing, packaging or process industry, refrigeration basics, and a team lead role in maintenance.
