POSITION INFO:
Role Overview Our client within the air conditioning industry is seeking an experienced and well‑skilled Airconditioning Installer in the Pretoria\/Centurion area. This role focuses on the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of small unitary air‑conditioning systems (under 18Kw). Qualifications Certificate for refrigerant gas handling (mandatory). Solid knowledge of refrigeration basics: pressures, temperatures, and leak detection. Experience Minimum 5 years of installation and commissioning of small type unitary air‑conditioning systems. Proven ability to troubleshoot faults in split systems. Exposure to midwall, cassettes, under‑ceiling, and ducted units. Duties & Responsibilities Install and commission small unitary systems ( Perform brazing, wiring controls, and troubleshooting. Apply basic electrical knowledge (up to 20 volts). Ensure compliance with refrigerant handling and safety standards. Maintain reliability and professional conduct (sober habits required). Tools & Competencies Proficiency with gauges, vacuums, and recovery machines. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability. Sound electrical background advantageous.
