Afrikaans (FAL) and Mathematics Teacher

This top performing girls’ school is looking to recruit a multi-talented teacher. The following SGB educator post, which could be structured as full or part-time, is available from January 2027:

Afrikaans First Additional Language & Mathematics

• Knowledge and experience in teaching the CAPs curriculum for both subjects in the GET phase is essential.
• Experience of teaching Afrikaans FAL at FET and Grade 12 level is essential.
• Must be computer literate and competent in the use of technology for teaching and learning.
• The successful applicant will be expected to play a full role in the extra-mural life of the school, including as a Tutor in the Vertical Tutor System.

Only short-listed candidates will be contacted and invited to an interview and will be taken on a tour of the school and expected to teach a lesson.  Exact dates of appointment will be negotiated with the successful candidate. We reserve the right not to fill the posts.
