Job purpose
- To provide an administrative support service to the beneficiary administration and conveyancing section
Appointment requirements
- Grade 12
- At least six months’ experience in a housing and human settlements environment Computer literacy
- Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person should allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost
Personal attributes and/or competencies
- Good written and verbal communication skills; capacity to plan and prioritise tasks in a systematic manner; ability to work under pressure; good written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a group; ability to be assertive in dealing and liaising with the public
Primary functions
- Capture registrations on the National Housing Needs Register
- Capture subsidy applications on the housing subsidy system
- Provide a logistical and administrative support service
- Provide an enquiry and information service to clients
- Maintain the filing system
- Issue title deeds
- Complete subsidy application forms
- Provide a typing service
