ACCOUNTANT | HYBRID | BRYANSTON Salary: R28 000 - R30 000 CTC per month Location: Bryanston, Johannesburg Work Model: Hybrid Working Hours: Monday - Friday | 08:00 - 16:30 Employment Type: 3-Month Contract to Permanent Start Date: Immediately Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Accountant! An established accounting firm in Bryanston is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to manage an international client portfolio, gain exposure to European businesses and work alongside experienced accounting professionals. Minimum Requirements Matric / Grade 12. BCom Accounting degree, Diploma in Accounting or currently studying towards a relevant qualification. Completed SAIPA articles preferable, but not compulsory. Proven experience in financial reporting, reconciliations and statutory submissions. Practical knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks Online, Hubdoc and Dext . Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Sound understanding of accounting principles and SARS compliance. Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and manage multiple clients. Valid driver's licence and own transport advantageous. Must be available to start immediately. Key Responsibilities Draft annual financial statements and management accounts. Prepare year-end journals and financial compilations. Perform bank, payroll, VAT, debtors and creditors reconciliations. Prepare and submit VAT201, EMP201, EMP501, ITR14 and IRP6 returns. Process accounting documentation using Hubdoc and Dext. Investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records. Manage client queries and ensure statutory compliance. What We Offer Hybrid working arrangement.
