ACCOUNTANT (BCom)

A well-established company based in Durban North is seeking a suitably qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team.
The ideal candidate should hold a BCom degree and have 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries Perform monthly reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accurate allocation of transactions Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies and procedures Minimum Requirements: BCom degree in Accounting Minimum of three years' relevant accounting experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliations Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
