Accountant

SUMMARY:
We require a qualified Accountant in the Winelands.
Fruit industry experience required.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements: Accounting Degree + Articles or Accounting Degree + 3 years solid accounting experience Cost accounting experience Advanced Excel Exposure/experience with forex transactions Duties and Responsibilities: Handle everyday money transactions (like bills, money owed to us, and ledger updates). Make sure payments to suppliers and producers and within the company are correct and on time. Check bank accounts daily to make sure they match our records. Help predict how much cash the company will have and plan for it. Manage ledgers on producer payments Help with closing the books at the end of each month and year. Combine financial information from different parts of the company. Reconcile any money transfers between different company parts. Keep good records for all combined financial accounts.
