BUCO has a vacancy available for an Accountant to ensure the integrity of financial accounts of the business and to ensure that all administrative policies and procedures are adhered to. Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties, and responsibilities below for further information.
Requirements
- Bookkeeping/ Accounting Diploma or relevant financial qualification
- 4 years’ experience as a Bookkeeper in a retail environment and operational experience
- A thorough understanding of trial balance to balance sheet
- Computer literate (strong MS Excel skills)
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and controlling the entire bookkeeping and administration function of the branch.
- Ensuring compliance with company controls, procedures, implementation and maintenance of adequate systems.
- Completion of budgets, forecasts and cost controls.
- Developing a focused admin team, including ongoing appraisals, training, and motivation.
- Maintenance of control accounts and monthly cash flow reports.
